In its latest production, English Theatre Leipzig takes on Greek mythology with Eurydice, Sarah Ruhl’s retelling of the tale of Orpheus in the underworld. Changing the perspective to view the story through Eurydice’s eyes, the play reflects upon life and loss and the power of memory.
In seiner neuesten Produktion widmet sich das English Theatre Leipzig der griechischen Mythologie mit Eurydice, Sarah Ruhls Neuerzählung der Geschichte von Orpheus in der Unterwelt. Aus anderer Perspektive, durch die Augen Eurydikes betrachtet, reflektiert das Stück das Leben, Verlust und die Kraft der Erinnerung.
